Presents a hybrid ventilation operation strategy suitable for office buildings in Chengdu. Simulates and compares indoor thermal environment and energy consumption of ventilation system in typical office building under the hybrid, mechanical and natural ventilation modes. The results show that the indoor thermal environment in hybrid ventilation mode is better than the other two modes, the percentage of comfortable degree hours reaches to 60.1%, the percentage of acceptable comfortable degree hours is 75.2%, subcooling time is less than that in mechanical ventilation mode and superheat time is much less than that in natural ventilation mode in the transition season, and the energy consumption of the hybrid ventilation system is reduced by 26.9%, compared with the mechanical ventilation mode.
